I Nailed It!

Ssssshhhh wag maingay ha, today is June 3... at kahapon ay June 2, syempre! ummm one year na kasi ako sa MedexCel (June 2, 2008) my God! I nailed it! Can't ask for more, great team, great boss, continuous ang buhos ng very challenging files, halos patuloy pa rin ako nag aaral at natututo, patuloy pa rin ang pag ipon ng experiences at knowledge kaya... salamat po ng marami! =) Honestly, i am wishing na magtagal pa ang MedexCel kasi parang nung isang araw, si boss parang gusto ng mag farming na lang hahaha! Ayoko!

Sa Bukid ni Mommy

I am month late na to post these pictures na kuha ko naman sa bakuran ng lola ko sa Pangasinan.. after kasi ng Bolinao (beach trip) eh nagtravel naman ako papuntang east, sa Sta Maria Pangasinan. I wanted na libutin ang buong bayan ng Sta Maria para kunan ang mga interesting scenes, people, landscapes kaso very limited lang time ko pero hopefully next summer.. In the meantime, eto muna ang meron sa paligid ligid na bukid ng lola ko.

Caught this movie "What Happens in Vegas" and i think narinig ko na kung ano ba talaga ang gusto kong sabihin sa isang previous post ko (Bolinao). Line ito ni Joy Ellis McNally (Cameron Diaz) ng tinanong sya ni Jack Fuller (Ashton Kutcher) "When is the last you were, like, really happy?

Joy: I was feeling really adventurous so i took the ferry about 30 miles east of the city. There was this great lighthouse , i mean it was just right on the beach off the boardwalk

Jack: You went there by yourself?

Joy: Yeah! You know i just, like, sat on the beach, listened to the waves, watched the sunset. God! i had no concerns, you know? I had like no responsibilities, no job stressing me out. I had no one to please but myself. That was a great day!

Eto mismo kung ano gusto ko sabihin.. di ko lang na elaborate masyado hehehe.. it is still about relaxing, makatakas, makahinga, at tumingin lang sa horizon...

Memorial Day

Might as well na ipost ito kasi maaga ako nakauwi kahapon from work kasi walang masyadong jobs... kasi holiday sa US daw, Memorial Day. Nacurious naman ako kung anong klaseng holiday ito so reseach research ng konti.

Memorial Day is a United States federal holiday observed on the last Monday of May (May 25 in 2009) . It commemorates US men and women who died while in the military service. First enacted to honor Union soldiers of the American Civil War then it was expanded after World War I to include American casualties of any war or military action.

I think dalawang major US holidays palang nararanasan ko habang nasa BPO industry ako, the other one is Thanksgiving Day... maaga rin ba kami pinauwi nun? Oo. May parating pa ulit this coming July, US Independence Day naman. Di pa ako masyadong aware sa mga ganitong customs ng US pero very interesting, kanya kanyang holiday observance. hmmm kung alam ko lang... you know, sa mga US holidays kaya ako mag file ng leave :-)
